Panel Upgrades, EV Chargers, and Lighting for Mission Viejo Homes

These three services see the most demand in Mission Viejo because of the mix of original tract homes and newer EV-owning households. Sun Day Electric handles all three under one license.

Panel Upgrades

Upgrading undersized or outdated panels common in Mission Viejo's original 1970s-80s tract homes to meet current code and capacity needs.

EV Charger Installation

Installing Level 2 home EV chargers with a dedicated 240V circuit, a growing need as more Mission Viejo households add electric vehicles.

Lighting Installation

Installing and upgrading interior and outdoor lighting, including security and landscape lighting suited to Mission Viejo's family properties.

A Licensed, Family-Run Crew Mission Viejo Homeowners Can Rely On

Answers for Mission Viejo Homeowners Hiring an Electrician

  • Do you work in older Mission Viejo tract homes built in the 1970s and 1980s?

Yes. Many original Mission Viejo homes have panels that are undersized for today's electrical loads. Sun Day Electric inspects the existing panel, explains what needs upgrading, and provides a free quote before any work starts, so there are no surprises once the job begins.

  • Can you install an EV charger in a Mission Viejo garage with an older panel?

Often, yes, though an older panel may need a sub-panel or full upgrade first to safely support a 240V EV charging circuit. Sun Day Electric checks panel capacity during the same visit, so homeowners get one clear plan instead of two separate estimates.

  • How fast can you get to a job in Mission Viejo?

Most Mission Viejo calls get a same-week response, and many get scheduled sooner depending on the job. Call (714) 204-1204 or request a quote online, and Sun Day Electric will confirm a visit time during regular weekday hours.

  • Are you licensed to do electrical work on homes in Orange County?

Yes, Sun Day Electric is licensed, fully insured, and bonded. Lic. #1131663
